Join Cedars Sinai’s Float Pool now and after 12 months you will be eligible to apply for cross-training, if accepted you will be cross trained with other specialties, which include ICU, ED, and Pediatrics. To qualify for cross training, you will need to obtain a PALS, NRP and BLS certificate before you apply. Cross training will allow you to get exposure to many different clinical areas while making a positive impact on the lives of a diverse patient population?

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

License/Certifications:

• California RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Certificates by ARC or AHA are required for certain units
• Specialty certification required

Experience:

• Experience within two (2) or more specialty areas, at least one (1) of which will be ICU or the Emergency Department required.
• One (1) year Charge Nurse experience in specialty area required.
• One (1) year Float Pool experience preferred.
• Current employees are required to be a Clinical Nurse III for at least 1 year in order to be considered.
